Domento Mechanical Services are utilising telehandlers and boom lifts from Eazi Access of Midrand to move steel sections around site for Tenova Pyromet at the new ASA Metals smelting site at Steelpoort.
The telehandlers are being utilised to lift steel sections from trucks to the lay down area and then on to specified locations on site for erection as well as to install ducting on bunker bins. The telehandlers have a reach of 14 meters and a carrying capacity of up to 4 tons.
The boom lifts are used specifically to align steel sections into place so that the steel beam can be pinned into the correct position.
Ollie Oliver, Construction Manager for Domento Mechanical Services said “I have used Eazi Sales and Service for many years and they provide us with great all-round service including risk assessment advice and operator training. Eazi is cost competitive and their machines offer greater safety and flexibility to us on site”.
The use of these particular access machines offers customers not only cost savings but essential safety benefits that is standard with all access equipment from Eazi Access.
Tenova Pyromet has also hired rough-terrain carts to travel around the site from Eazi Access.
Both Domento Mechanical Services and Tenova Pyromet have been customers of Eazi Access for a number of years.
