JLG’s New President at IPAF

Wayne Lawson new president of IPAFWayne Lawson, vice president of JLG and managing director of JLG’s operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, took over the reigns as president of the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) in 2011.


With more than 25 years of experience in the powered access industry, Lawson joined JLG in 2001 and has been instrumental in the development of JLG’s business in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, working collaboratively with the leaders of the other functional areas in developing and strengthening the JLG brand, while positioning JLG in the region.


Lawson has set three goals for his term as IPAF president:
1. the extension of IPAF’s global footprint;
2. addressing challenges of developing the training programme in emerging markets; and
3. improving communication between the IPAF board, council, members and industry.
